Why is everyone hating on Rich Kids of Instagram?

Hating on someone else’s rich lifestyle just because they were born into it?  Wow.  People expect these young individuals to spill their money around to charities because they have that extra income.  When’s the last time you decided to spread and donate your spare income to charitable organizations instead of indulging?

Don’t you think sitting behind a computer screen is enough of an indulgence?  Isn’t everything in relativity?  Amazing that individuals can put an introspective lens on another group of people, without reflecting on themselves.

Also, on the issue of charity, I’d rather have an individual donate to a cause they care about rather than sprinkling a few extra dollars here and there so they can avoid ridicule.

I think Rich Kids of Instagram is a great way social media can allow to glimpse into other people’s lifestyles.  What’s the difference between you taking a shot of your birthday gift to someone who happens to be in another tax bracket taking a shot of what they received for their birthday?  You’re both seeking validation from this cyber world.

Jealousy’s a dangerous trait, y’all.
