Good Lord, this looks like a sweet movie.

Sweet, as in very touching, pretty romantic.  And sweet as in, it’s a zombie movie with kickass comedy.

Saw “Sinister” today

Went with Steph, and it wasn’t scary at all!

There were some tingly “ruh-oh” moments where you knew something bad was going to happen or show up, but all in all, not a frightening movie.  The movie began surprisingly very well, with the mood and atmosphere set by the first few frames of the movie.  But the ending was terrible, the main antagonist looked ridiculous and the makeup on the children were really badly done.

Also, the fact that a grown man walks around his house with a cell phone for a flashlight instead of turning on the house lights is ridiculous.  I never understood why characters in horror films do that … you’d much rather scare the intruder out of your house by surprising them, then turning on all the lights and letting them find their own way out?  What?!

Disappointed.  But we did manage to see trailers for more horror films, like Mama and Stoker.
